Lacings

These lacings are still traditionally worn today in so-called student fraternities.
These are social clubs that maintain tradition and customs.
Typically, a jacket consists of several closures.
The number is to be specified by you.
The usual sizes are 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28 cm.
All lacings are fundamentally made from 8 mm wide soutache.
The Hussar lacings, which we handcraft, come in various shapes:

- cloverleaf shape
- bow shape
- three-part bow shape
- angle shape

Additionally, other lacings are used for pockets, sleeves, and the back.
For so-called "Kneipjacke" lacings, twisted cords are used.
The "Kneipjacke" lacing always has two handcrafted toggles.
In the so-called "Pekeschen" lacing, a twisted cord is also used, but this lacing has three handcrafted toggles.
The toggles serve to fasten the jacket.
