Rosettes

In the past, rosettes were mainly worn on elaborate two- or three-pointed hats.
Later, they were moved down onto the uniform to indicate a particular affiliation with an association or a committee.
Rosettes are usually made from grosgrain ribbon, which is then pleated and sewn into a circular shape.
A version of these rosettes with a metallic or textile-covered button is always possible.
The primary materials for grosgrain ribbons used in rosettes are viscose grosgrain ribbons.
These can be solid-colored, striped, or adorned with metallic longitudinal stripes.
Additionally, rosettes can be made on a wire ring.
Typically, open artificial silk or corded artificial silk is used for this.
Rosettes are mainly used to support metal badges.
